The operator of ProjectHub (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") values the personal information of its users and complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act. This policy describes the types of personal information collected, the purposes of collection, and the retention periods.
Article 1 (Personal Information Collected)
The Service collects the following personal information for membership registration and service provision:
- Social login information: Name (nickname), email address, profile image
- Service usage records: Access timestamps, post creation records, comments, reactions (emoji) records
- Automatically collected information: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies
Article 2 (Collection Methods)
- Information directly entered by the user during registration, or information automatically provided through social login integration (e.g., GitHub, Google)
- Information automatically generated and collected during the use of the Service
- Information directly entered by the user (e.g., profile modifications, post creation)
Article 3 (Purpose of Use)
Collected personal information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Membership registration and identity verification
- Service provision and delivery of personalized content
- Operation of community features (posts, comments, reactions, etc.)
- Service improvement and statistical analysis
- Delivery of service-related notices and announcements
- Prevention of fraudulent use and service security
Article 4 (Retention Period)
- Personal information shall be promptly destroyed once the purpose of collection has been fulfilled.
- Upon account deletion, personal information is immediately destroyed. However, where retention is required by applicable laws, the information shall be retained for the legally prescribed period.
- Records of contracts and transactions under the Electronic Commerce Act: 5 years
- Access logs under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act: 3 months
Article 5 (Third-Party Disclosure)
As a general rule, the operator does not provide users' personal information to third parties. However, the following cases are exceptions:
- Where the user has given prior consent
- Where required by law or requested by an investigative authority in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes
Article 6 (Processing Delegation)
The following personal information processing is delegated for the operation of the Service:

Article 7 (User Rights)
Users may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Request to access, modify, or delete personal information
- Request to suspend the processing of personal information
- Account deletion (can be processed directly through the service settings page)
These rights may be exercised directly through the settings page within the Service or by contacting the Privacy Officer via email.
Article 8 (Cookies)
- The Service uses cookies for purposes such as maintaining login sessions.
- Users may refuse the storage of cookies through browser settings; however, doing so may limit the use of certain features of the Service.

Article 10 (Policy Changes)
- This policy may be amended in accordance with changes to applicable laws and service policies.
